Situated in the historic city of Tiruchirappalli in southern India, this multi-family residential project caters to mid-market clientele. The design challenge was to create an aesthetically appealing building within very limited budget constraints.

Using a vertical fenestration and slits, the large mass of the building is broken down creating a 'slimming' effect. Bright pastel tropical color application highlights the vertical voids which are key to providing enhanced daylight penetration and cross-ventilation in the units.
